It's in the Bag!

I just heard, God say, “It’s in the bag. It’s always been in the bag”. I’ve heard this term for years without knowing what it meant exactly or where it came from. The origin of the phrase ‘in the bag’ comes from early 20th century America, when the New York Giants baseball team would carry a ball bag off the field when the team was in the lead, superstitiously thinking that the game was ‘in the bag’ and couldn’t be lost. I had no idea that this term came from baseball, but for years, God has given me many principals of the Kingdom to be likened to the game of baseball. I have designed a replica of “Kingdom Baseball” in my own mind over the years. I have found that every move of the Holy Spirit moves for the purpose of expanding people in the Kingdom of God so that, together, we could advance the Kingdom as a Christ-centered Body – a Corporate Son, if you will. Teach people Divine Order, as well as empower them in the Standards needed to overcome personal battles or obstacles, and they will soon occupy the ground that you’re stewarding the Kingdom of God from. Without the right “outfit”, people will end up wearing their armor outwardly and become weighed down by it. Teach people to facilitate the ministry by carrying the presence of God from how they worship, and they will strategize through the revelation that they receive of God and overcome as victors. Through the right kind of armor, we overcome and rise in offense. The wrong kind of armor will weigh people down to cause them to come under siege, through defense, of what they are battling against. Thus, becoming the tail and not the head. The Mysteries of the Kingdom release so many gifts and so much knowledge of God. They must be searched out! God doesn’t hide Himself, but it is for certain, when we search HIM out, we always find ourselves IN HIM. “It’s in the bag. It’s always in the bag.” Lord Jesus, we LOVE YOU!

{Reference to "outfit" associated with the armour that King Saul gave David in 1 Samuel 17:38-58).
